If you drove past the corner of Charleston and Pavilion Center Drive in Summerlin around 5 p.m. Friday and saw me hanging out with a mariachi band and a pink pygmy pony, you could have: A) texted me “WTF,” which was what most motorists exclaimed; or B) pulled over like the Summerlin mommy set to inquire about getting the pony for your kid’s birthday. The answer, however is: C) I was hanging out with Fastboy, Agave restaurant’s prized spokes-burro, who is dyed pink (PETA: nontoxic) to attract attention to Locas Horas, the nightly “crazy hours.” Enjoy 25-cent authentic street tacos and $1 Coronitas from 4:05-6:26 p.m. and 10:12 p.m. to close. For all the change under my car seat, I found satisfaction. For all of 10 minutes with Fastboy, I think I found a friend.
