2023 Ellis Island Beer Bracket Champion: Belgian Blonde Ale

The results are in! After weeks of voting, the winner of the 2023 Beer Bracket presented by Ellis Island Casino is Belgian Blonde Ale!

 

Belgian Blonde Ale battled against Day Drink Believer in the final round. Both put up great fights for the chance to wear the crown, but ultimately Belgian Blonde Ale reigned supreme. The easy drinking Belgian Style golden ale won the hearts, and tastebuds, of voters with its sweet notes of pleasant fruit and a delicious, spiced yeast character. Top it off with an ABV of 5.0% and its clear why it’s an excellent choice for your next pint. 

 

The runner-up, the deceptively strong Day Drink Believer, is a well-loved German Golden Lager. With a rich, smooth feel and a wonderfully mild citrus hop finish, it’s no surprise it came so close to the top!
