Westgate Las Vegas is bringing the latest round of Taylor Swift hype with an “immersive” October 2 listening party corresponding with the release of the 14-time Grammy winner’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl

The free, all-ages event begins at 8:45 p.m. in Westgate’s Cabaret, where fans will get two opportunities to hear the full 12-track, 45-minute project over the course of the evening.

Along the way, attendees can record their early impressions alongside appropriately themed, Instagram-friendly decor, participate in a costume contest—with prizes for the best showgirl or Swift-inspired looks—and indulge in specialty cocktails.

“Listening parties are about more than music—they’re about building community and celebrating together,” Westgate senior vice president of marketing and entertainment Dawn Rawle says. “We’re thrilled to create a fun, welcoming space where fans can connect, decode lyrics, and immerse themselves in this exciting new era.”

Swifties are free to discuss all the elaborate fan theories that have been swirling on the internet ever since the megastar first announced the album’s title on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast in early August.

While Las Vegas popularized the modern image of the showgirl, Swift’s new record is set to immortalize the concept for a whole new generation.

With limited seating and in anticipation of a high turnout, Westgate is encouraging interested fans to reserve their free spot at eventbrite.com
